  • Dylan Newcomer is the founder of Athletic Potential: Performance Physical Therapy, a comprehensive rehabilitation services provider for athletes. For the past seven years, Dylan has dedicated his career to helping athletes of all ages and skill levels bridge the gap between health and performance. He began as a strength and conditioning coach before transitioning to his current role as a physical therapist.

    Athletic Potential PT has served as the rehabilitation provider for Driveline Baseball for several years. The practice is now expanding its services to support the athletes at Home Base Athletics. Dylan's experience includes working with Home Base's own Casey Sadler, guiding him through rehabilitation to prepare for his final minor league season before retirement.

    Dylan will offer a range of services to Home Base athletes, including physical therapy, performance training, and speed and agility classes for high school and college athletes. The practice has also partnered with Hannah Brouwer to incorporate manual therapy and corrective exercise treatments into their offerings. With Dylan's expertise and commitment to athlete well-being, Athletic Potential PT is well-positioned to help Home Base athletes reach their full potential.

Service Descriptions:

Physical Therapy

  • Athletic Potential PT offers comprehensive physical therapy care tailored to the unique needs of athletes, addressing acute and chronic injuries as well as providing full post-operative rehabilitation. Physical Therapist, Dylan Newcomer, develops personalized treatment plans that focus on injury recovery, prevention, and performance optimization using evidence-based techniques and sport-specific training. With a commitment to staying current with the latest research and techniques in sports physical therapy, we help athletes of all levels achieve their goals and reach their full potential.

1-on-1/Small Group Performance Training (Groups of 3 max)

  • Elevate your athletic performance with our customized high-performance strength programs. Designed to enhance your athletic ability, reduce injury risk, and optimize performance, our training sessions are tailored to your individual needs and goals. With a maximum of three athletes per group, you'll receive personalized attention and guidance from Dylan.

Speed and Agility Class

  • Take your game to the next level with our three-month Speed and Agility class. This progressive program is designed to help you become faster, more explosive, and more agile. Each month builds upon the previous one, starting with an emphasis on biomechanics, form, and technique. In month two, you'll focus on improving your reactive game speed, applying the skills you learned in month one. The final phase is all about maximum intensity, because to be fast, you have to train fast. Classes are 45 minutes each.

  Manual Therapy 

  • Manual therapy is a key component of the personalized treatment plans offered at Athletic Potential PT. This targeted approach focuses on addressing specific issues related to alignment, mobility, and function through techniques such as soft tissue mobilization, joint mobilization, and fascial release. Each session begins with a brief assessment to account for the body's constant state of change, followed by the application of techniques chosen based on your presentation and overall goals. The session concludes with coaching through a series of individualized movements. Whether you're recovering from an injury, looking to improve your performance, or seeking to maintain optimal health, manual therapy can be incorporated into your treatment plan at any stage. For your convenience, we offer the option in partnership with a licensed athletic trainer, Hannah Brouwer, to provide manual therapy services in the comfort of your own home.

Physical Therapy Sessions - 45 Minutes

Dylan specializes in sports-focused physical therapy, helping athletes of all levels recover, perform, and thrive. Whether you're recovering from an injury or surgery, addressing chronic pain, or seeking to optimize your performance, Dylan combines evidence-based treatments with sport-specific strategies to get you back to peak condition. Sessions include personalized evaluations, targeted exercises, and functional movement training to ensure you're not just back in the game but playing stronger than ever.

  • 6 Pack - $660 ($110/Session) - 12% Discount

  • 12 Pack - $1230 ($102.5/Session) - 18% Discount

    • Sessions Never Expire

    • All sessions are available for potential reimbursement through out of network benefits depending on your insurance provider. Superbills provided at the end of each session on your patient portal.

Manual Therapy Sessions - 45 Minutes

Hannah provides expert manual therapy services, offering hands-on care to address pain, improve mobility, and enhance recovery. With a focus on reducing tension, improving joint function, and supporting overall well-being, Hannah’s sessions are perfect for athletes and active individuals looking to feel and perform their best. Whether it's a post-game recovery or a treatment for ongoing discomfort, her customized approach ensures your body stays strong and ready for action.

 

  • Single Session Cost: $100

  • 4 Pack: $360 ($90/Session)

  • 8 Pack: $640 ($80/session)


Prevention and Performance Program

The Prevention and Performance Program is designed to keep you healthy, strong, and performing at your best year-round, even as you push yourself to train and compete hard.

The program starts with an initial evaluation, a personalized session that provides an in-depth look at your athletic demands and goals. This session acts as both a strategic planning meeting and a comprehensive assessment, identifying areas of weakness, performance gaps, and opportunities for growth. From here, we’ll develop a roadmap tailored to optimize your health and maximize your performance potential.

After the evaluation, you’ll receive a customized plan specifically designed to address the key areas identified during your session. This program builds a foundation of durability, resilience, and peak performance, helping you overcome challenges and stay ahead of the game. Whether you are in-season, in the off-season, or juggling multiple practices and commitments each week, the program is designed to meet you where you are. Our goal is to optimize your workload, address key deficits, and plug any gaps in your training plan to ensure you’re performing at your best.

You’ll also have the option to schedule in-person sessions at a frequency that works best for your needs. To ensure continuous progress and adaptability to your evolving goals, we recommend meeting once a month.

Think of this program as having a dedicated Physical Therapist in your back pocket, ready to help you optimize your training, enhance your performance, and keep you in the game.
